On March 31, 2026, independent director Alikhan Zheksembayevich Baidussenov was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “LOK Ok-Zhetpes.”

Alikhan Baidussenov is an independent director and an expert in corporate governance, strategic development, and corporate finance, with over 20 years of experience.

He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism,” where he implements international best practices in corporate governance and enhances the effectiveness of the Board. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of JSC “Science Fund,” where he chairs the Audit and Strategic Development Committees.

He has significant experience in the oil and gas sector, including leading strategic development at JSC “KazMunayGas Exploration Production,” where he was responsible for strategic planning and participated in preparing the company for its IPO on the London and Kazakhstan stock exchanges. He also has experience in management consulting.

He has practical experience working with international investment banks, supporting M&A transactions, and implementing projects in corporate finance, including deal structuring, fundraising, and capital markets operations.

Currently, he is a Senior Partner at EXia, an analytical company engaged in developing IT platforms and analytics for the energy sector of Kazakhstan.

He is a certified specialist in corporate governance (DipIoD, Institute of Directors, UK) and has international experience in training and consulting members of boards of directors.

He is also a university lecturer and an expert in educational programs on corporate governance, strategic management, and finance.
